Our cakes are made by hand with all natural ingredients, which means we only use butter, eggs and sugar in our icings for the best cake experience possible. To keep your cake fresh and easy to transport to your special event, we refrigerate your cake until it is picked up. Eating a cold buttercream cake is not optimal. For that reason, you must plan ahead for the best experience. Budget time to bring your cake to room temperature before cutting and serving. Depending on the ambient temperature of the room, this can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour or more. When the buttercream is soft and silky and the cake is soft, it’s ready to cut and serve. Keep the cake flat, avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 82F degrees.
